22 June 2008. Ðàçìåñòèë:

Minnetonka discWelder STEEL 3.0Minnetonka Audio Software Inc (MASI) is now shipping an all-new version of discWelder STEEL with the release of version 3. The new release is infused with a subset of features from MASI's authoring application, discWelder CHROME II, which was recently used to author the latest DVD-A release by former Beatle Ringo Starr, titled "Ringo 5.1".

New to discWelder STEEL v3.0:

  • AutoMirror™
  • DSD import and convert to PCM for authoring
  • DSD to PCM conversion to a folder for offline editing
  • Red-Book CD burning

AutoMirror™ takes audio stored in the DVD-Audio zone and automatically creates, or "mirrors" a Dolby Digital encoded surround program, producing a fully compatible DVD disc than can be played back in any DVD-Video player. AutoMirror™ was just recently a $350 paid option, but discWelder STEEL v3.0 now includes this feature at no additional charge.

Also new to discWelder STEEL v3.0 is red-book Compact Disc (CD) authoring, allowing both DVD-A, DVD-V, and CD's to be used as reference discs. This feature is complimented by the ability to import Direct Stream Digital (DSD) files for authoring, or conversion from DSD to PCM for editing in a digital audio workstation.
